Ms. McShepard's elephant represents the big dreams that are so big, like the phrase that says: "They are so big, you just can't ignore them".
The message here is also to hold on to your dreams and looking at the woman in the picture, I can see that she is holding on to her dreams - like she is holding on to the elephant.
The artist added the green jungle - where green means that there is always hope. She also added the yellow sun - perhaps an indication that dreams might not come true right away, but there is always another day?
